1st Grade - This week we used songs, sticks and xylophones to better experience rhythm patterns.
2nd Grade - The students used our new Mega Blocks to create rhythm patterns. They are also singing some challenging songs in our music books and noticing more details in the music.
3rd Grade - Now that the show is over, we are reviewing how to read notes on a staff.
4th Grade - The focus of our lessons this week was understanding music in 3/4 time. The students worked with a partner and created appropriate melodies to play on the Orff instruments. We also listened to Take Five and Mission Impossible which are in 5/4 time.
