1st Grade - We are singing songs, doing dances and playing music games that help to reinforce the concepts of loud and quiet, high and low, fast and slow, sing, speak, whisper and shout.
2nd Grade - We are continuing our unit on musical form. The students have experienced AB, ABA, ABACA and ABACADA. We watched a clip from "The King and I" and enjoyed watching The March of the Siamese Children. It is in ABACABA form.
3rd Grade - Congratulations on a wonderful show! I am so proud of all of my 3rd grade students!!!
4th Grade - We are watching YouTube videos and other DVDs to see and hear the instruments of the Woodwind, String, Brass and Percussion families.
5th Grade - We are rehearsing for the 5th grade show. A packet has gone home with very important information about this show. Copies of this packet can be found under the 5th grade show tab at the top of this blog.
