Kindergarten - This week we started our musical adventures with Camille Saint-Saens "The Carnival of the Animals"!
1st Grade - Please look on my blog for the video recordings of each class singing the Presidents Song! We sang a song about the Statue of Liberty this week and took a close look at the notes. They are able to read quarter notes, eighth notes and quarter rests now.
2nd Grade - We have jumped into a new unit on instruments of the orchestra! We watched Brain Pop videos on instrument families and took the quizzes.
3rd Grade - Rehearsals are going very well for "The Granny Awards"! Auditions started and will continue into next week.
4th Grade - We visited one of my favorite web sites called SFS Kids. We had our final review of instrument families and took the test using the remote controls. It's great to have the Student Response System available here. It saves a lot of paper!
5th Grade - We reviewed our dances and started learning the choreography I created for our opener "One". A packet about the 5th grade show will be going home next week. I will also post all information here on my blog. Look for a 5th grade show tab at the top of this blog.
