All Ivy Hill students sang to Miss. Csensich at our farewell assembly this week! Great job, everyone!!!
Kindergarten - No class this week.
1st Grade - We finished our year with a parachute! We danced with it while listening to the William Tell Overture.
2nd Grade - We acted out the song "Don Gato". That was very entertaining! We also enjoyed a folk story that used a few words in Spanish. We had one last singing assessment and played a hot and cold game with a song.
3rd Grade - We finished our Beethoven movie and reflected on the original list of questions they generated when we started this unit. I also shared some personal photos from Bonn, Beethoven's birth town, and Vienna, where he lived his adult life.
4th Grade - We finished our time together by echo playing through Beethoven's Ode to Joy on the recorders.
5th Grade - What can I say? These children have brought me great joy and pride over the past six years. Now it's time to celebrate their musical accomplishments!
