My name is Mrs. Opitz, and I am the music teacher at Ivy Hill Elementary School in Arlington Heights, Illinois. I graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Music Education. My Masters degree is from Northern Illinois University and is in Elementary Education. Although I am certified to teach in a classroom, my passion is teaching music! My students range from kindergarten through 5th grade. We sing, dance, play instruments, do shows and laugh a lot! I love my job and I am proud of my students!
