1st Grade - This week we practiced a long rhythm pattern and then heard it played 18 times in Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King".
2nd Grade - We started a unit on the instruments of the orchestra. The students will learn the names of the instruments, how to sort them into the 4 families of instruments and the different techniques for playing them.
3rd Grade - We had a wonderful experience in the computer lab using GarageBand to enhance the Biome reports they recorded.
4th Grade - To break up the stress of ISAT tests we did some Irish dancing and learned a little about St. Patrick.
5th Grade - We learned the choreography for another song this week. I love the energy, creativity and sense of humor these students have!
