Kindergarten - We are listening and moving to music from Camille Saint Saens "Carnival of the Animals". The students listen and try to guess the intended animal buy focusing on clues in the music like fast and slow or high and low. So far we have roared like lions, hopped like kangaroos, sprayed our backs with our elephant trunks, galloped like a horse, crawled like a turtle and flew like a bird!
2nd Grade - This week we took the time to reflect on their success in the pirate show! We also reviewed the president gong that I taught them in 1st grade.
3rd Grade - Auditions for speaking parts has taken place this week for our upcoming show called "Update Earth". The children are learning these songs quickly! We are all learning about new ways to reduce, reuse and recycle!
4th Grade - We did a thorough review of the presidents song this week. We are staring a new unit on how to play the Orff instruments.
5th Grade - The students now know 4 dances in preparation for the 5th grade show! They are working hard on beautiful sining, memorization and polishing their dance moves!
