Kindergarten - We are wrapping up the year with some fun counting songs.
st Grade - This was George Gershwin week. We listened to his "Rhapsody in Blue" and watched the wonderful cartoon in Fantasia 2000.
nd Grade - This week several students sang solos in class. We also had fun with a new word: Tempo.
rd Grade - More Beethoven! Most students can now recognize Beethoven's 3rd Symphony "Eroica", his 5th Symphony, his 6th Symphony "Pastoral" and his final symphony, the 9th "Choral" Symphony.
th Grade - We are wrapping up watching "West Side Story". The songs and dances in this production are incredible!
th Grade - This week we've had more combined rehearsals on the stage, as well as separate rehearsals for boys and girls. Please see copies of all the letters I've sent home underneath the 5th grade show tab at the top of this blog. All permission slips are now due. Costume boxes are due on Monday. Have your 5th grader leave their box out side my door when they leave for Camp Edwards.
