Kindergarten - It was fun to sing about snow and finally have real snow on the ground!
1st Grade - Ta, sh and ti-ti notes are all being read, spoken and played on xylophones. Ask your child about this!
2nd Grade - Squirm is coming along nicely! Speaking parts will be assigned next week and a letter will go home soon about costumes.
3rd Grade - Your child should have the names of all 50 states memorized now! We are also practicing how to draw notes and rests.
4th Grade - I gave these students two new challenges this week. The first one was for them to read their glockenspiel or xylophone parts off of a staff without labeling the notes. The next challenge was for them to try to play two parts at once. Many of them did this very well!
5th Grade - We are having a lot of fun preparing our songs for the 5th grade show!
