Kindergarten - We practiced on the stage for the first time!
1st Grade - We are wrapping up our Peter and the Wolf projects. The students leaned how to recognize many different instrument sounds as well as how they look.
2nd Grade - We finished our instrument unit and started experiencing and identifying different musical forms. We started with ABA and progressed to ABACADA. The music we listened to is called "The Viennese Musical Clock" by Kodaly. We looked on the internet at all kinds of musical clocks and then the students became a clock!
3rd Grade - We previewed the pictures from "Broadway Beat" and continued practicing how to read notes on a staff.
4th Grade - We finished watching "The Magic Flute" and started a unit on instruments of the orchestra and the 4 families of instruments. We are using many games on the internet to see, hear and play!
5th Grade - Lots of singing and dancing!!!
