1st Grade - We listened to a train composition by a South American composer, sang a train song and drew New York City together while listening to Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue".
2nd Grade - We moved up to a more difficult text book. The students noticed lots of musical details and asked a lot of questions. I love that!
3rd Grade - We took the note reading test. Scores are looking great!
4th Grade - The students took 3 tests this week. One test had them name instruments by looking at pictures. The second was a listening test in which they had to identify instruments or families. The last test required the students to sort 18 instruments into their families.
