1st Grade - We previewed the first grade musical by listening to a CD with a full cast performance of the show. The first graders will be doing "A Beary Merry Holiday" on December 18 at 9:45.
2nd Grade - These student are now able to sing a partner song, which is a very tricky thing to do! They can also participate in a round. We closely looked at the rhythm and melody of a Halloween song, too.
3rd Grade - I introduced the students to an online game called Staff Wars. This game allows students to practice naming the notes on the staff in treble clef. So far they have learned how to name the space notes. We are also working on a song and dance that I will record and send to Music Express Magazine.
4th Grade - Today we will tie-dye!! Thankfully it's a beautiful day :-) Rehearsals are going well and they are just about ready to perform for you next Wednesday at 9:45.
5th Grade - We voted on the 5th grade t-shirt this week by using Nearpod. A super cool spiral pattern called Berry was the wining pattern. We also practiced creating major and minor chords using the choir chimes. Lastly, we are learning about the different vocal ranges of men and women.
