2nd Grade - We had some fun with turkey songs, a mashed potato song and a traveling song. We learned 5 tempo (speed) words and applied them to our songs.
3rd Grade - We watched a video of the Ohio State Marching Band. I think the students have a new appreciation for the talent that is required in order to be in a marching band like this! We are also playing Staff Wars to practice naming the notes on a staff.
4th Grade - The Star Spangled Banner tests were graded and reviewed. The students did a great job! We are also learning some snowy songs to sing for December!
5th Grade - We have been listening to different combinations of voices in a variety of songs. The students are good at identifying solo voices and ensembles.
