Kindergarten - We are enjoying two Raffi songs that make us laugh and keep us active. The children are learning about high and low notes and have used a few small percussion instruments.
2nd Grade - The students are now able to combine their singing skills with their rhythm reading skills and sing melodies with our Mega blocks. We are also learning about Yankee Doodle and the song "America" in honor of Veteran's Day.
3rd Grade - The children are learning the songs of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines in honor of Veteran's Day.
4th Grade - This week we previewed the photos from our "Gotta Be Jazz" show. In addition, we are setting up accounts in Otus. I will use this tool for grading and communicating with them for the rest of the year.
5th Grade - Decisions have finally been made for the 5th grade t-shirts. Information will be going home soon. The students have been working hard on a composition project. Lastly, they have connected with me using an app called Otus. I will be grading them and connecting with them through this app for the rest of the year. As parents, you have access to their accounts.
