Kindergarten - We finished up our drum unit and started Fall and Halloween music.
1st Grade - We are enjoying many apple songs and are reading rhythms now!
2nd Grade - We started working on an autumn partner song. This is a new challenge! We're also playing a rhythm game that involves reading and moving in circles to a song.
3rd Grade - Has your child asked you to waltz? If not, ask them! We are focusing on 3/4 time right now with songs, instruments and movement.
4th Grade - "Jaust!" is coming along! Don't forget to check the 4th grade show tab at the top of this blog, as well as our Edmodo page for more detailed information.
5th Grade - We recorded drumming ensembles using Garage Band and soon they will be posted here. We are learning about vocal ranges by using youtube videos of various performers.
The World Instruments are gone now. I thoroughly enjoyed drumming with your children. We are so fortunate to have these instruments in our district. They allow each student equal opportunities to create and express themselves!
