No Kindergarten classes this week.
1st - This week we drummed out the rhythms of our birthdays. We also started learning a poem about money.
2nd - We are continuing to practice the difference between the steady beat and the rhythm of the words. We learned how to spell "rhythm"!
3rd - We are playing an African Ensemble and learning the instrumental parts to a song called "We Are Making Music".
4th - We are now in full rehearsal mode for "Compose Yourself".
5th - This week we played our rhythm pyramid in canon form, polished an African Ensemble on the World Instruments, and began learning a more challenging ensemble.
I love watching each child shine while playing and exploring the World Instruments!
