Here is a video of some students from Mrs. Arias and Mrs. Tazi's 1st grade classes singing their own compositions. This lesson started with me singing this book to them. They sang it back to me, played the melodies on instruments and then used a two-lined staff and manipulatives to create and sing their own songs. It was a lot of fun!
