A Special Visit!

We had two surprise visitors today! One was Mr. Opitz. The other was Officer Mark Dockendorf. Mark is also a Marine! We had a wonderful time talking to him about his experiences in Iraq and asked questions about his life now as a policeman. I have his picture in my room on my Veteran's Day wall of fame and I was truly honored that he surprised us with a visit! Thank you to all of you who have sent in pictures of the veterans in your family.  I hope that Veteran's Day will always remain a special celebration to my students.
