Week of November 26-30

Kindergarten - This week we started learning a fun song called We Will Jingle!  I wonder if you're hearing it at home!

1st Grade - Please watch for a letter to come home today about costumes for Candy Cane Lane.  I am providing most costume pieces, but your child will need to wear a couple of things from home.

2nd Grade - We are working on a Hanukkah song and a Christmas song that features a few words in Spanish!

3rd Grade - The third graders are working on a Hanukkah song and dance and a Christmas song that has incredible Irish music as accompaniment.

4th Grade - Just for fun, we are learning a funny medley of songs that feature melodies from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite.  This is a nice continuation from our Compose Yourself show.  By the way, after several tech obstacles, the DVDs of that show are now ready for duplication.

5th Grade - The students are leaning a beautiful 3 part rendition of Dona Nobis Pacem.  They will choose one of the parts to sing for their vocal assessment.  Each class is also learning a holiday song on the choir chimes.
